Gott Marketing makes branded apparel, hats, promotional products, printing and trade show materials for building products companies. This policy explains what information gottmarketing.com collects, how we use it and the choices you have. The short version: we use what you send us to answer you and fill your order, and we do not sell it.
What we collect
When you request a quote or start a project. Our form asks for your name, email, phone, company, the quantity and date you need, a message about your project and, if you choose, a logo file.
When you download a guide. We ask for your first name, email and company so we can send it to you.
When you email or call us. We keep what you send us, like your contact details, artwork and order information.
Automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are visited and how visitors found us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like your browser, device, general location and pages viewed. Our hosting providers also keep standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and performance.
How you found us. When you first visit, a small cookie on our own site notes where you came from (for example, a search engine, a link on another site or an email campaign) and the first page you viewed. If you send us a request, that information is included with it so we know which of our marketing is working. It is not shared with anyone else.
The price estimators on this site run in your browser. We do not save what you enter into them.
How we use it
- To answer your request, prepare quotes and mockups, and follow up about your project
- To produce, decorate and ship your order
- To send you the guide or information you asked for
- To improve the website and understand what is useful to visitors
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only when needed to do the work you asked for:
- Suppliers and decorators who make and decorate your products. They receive your artwork and the order details they need, and shipping information when they ship directly to you.
- Service providers who run our website, email and analytics, such as our web host and Google.
- When required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics and our own how-you-found-us cookie are stored in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out browser add-on. The site works without these cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests, project details and order records for as long as we need them to serve you and for our business and tax records. Logo files sent through the form are emailed to us and then removed from the web server. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we have about you, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email info@gottmarketing.com and we will take care of it.
Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we limit access to your information to the people who need it to do the work. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please do not send payment card numbers through the form or by email.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.
