Branded Tumblers for Events: Lessons From the Pink Cups
A logo tumbler is one of the few giveaways people actually carry out the door and use the next morning. But the tumbler and the color you pick decide whether it ends up on a desk or in a drawer. Here is what we have seen work at events for building products companies this year.

The short answer
- Pick a big tumbler with a handle. A 40 oz tumbler with a handle is what people already carry around.
- Bring a bold color next to the classic black. When we’ve offered hot pink next to black this fall, pink has been the hit.
- Keep the logo simple. One color, sized so it reads from across the table.
- Plan on about two weeks. Popular colors of name-brand tumblers can take a few days just to reach the decorator.
What happened with the pink cups
For a women-in-construction golf tournament in North Texas this October, the table had HydroJug 40 oz Travelers in black and in hot pink, each with the sponsor’s logo in its brand green. The pink ones were an unbelievable hit. They were the tumblers golfers carried around the course and held up for photos.
It wasn’t a one-off. Earlier this fall a utility contractor ordered hot pink HydroJugs for its team. The crew loved them, and the company has reordered since.
The lesson: in an industry where most gear comes in black, gray and navy, a bright color stands out. It also gets noticed and talked about, which is the whole point of putting a logo on it.

How to split your order
Don’t go all-in on the bold color. Some people will always want black, and it’s the safer pick for a mixed crowd. A good starting point is half and half. For an event where most guests are women, lean toward more of the bright color. Either way, every tumbler should carry the same logo, so the whole order prices together.
What they cost
With your logo, as of October 2026:
- HydroJug 40 oz Traveler: about $45.71 each at 24 and $44.28 at 48, dropping to about $42 at 200+. Comes in pink and a range of other colors.
- Simple Modern Trek 40 oz: about $36.43 each at 12 and $34 at 48. A good-looking tumbler for a tighter budget.
Setup is included in those prices, and there is no separate art fee. Shipping and tax are added to your invoice. See every option on our drinkware page.
Timing
Plan on about two weeks from your approved proof to tumblers in hand. Name-brand tumblers ship to the decorator from the brand first, and popular colors can take several days just to arrive. When an event is close, we can often rush an order and have it ready in about a week. If you are ordering for a specific date, tell us up front.
Planning an event?
Tumblers pair well with hats and polos for the golfers. See our golf outing package, customer appreciation day ideas and trade show giveaways that don’t get left in the hotel trash. Or plan your event by date and budget, or tell us about it and we’ll put options together.
